Frequently Asked Questions

Booking & payment

How do I book?

Simply send us an enquiry through the site or email us directly — you'll always be dealing with us, the owners, not an agency. We'll confirm availability and guide you through the rest.

How much deposit is required?

A 30% deposit secures your booking, payable by bank transfer. The remaining balance is due no later than one month before your arrival.

Is the deposit refundable?

Yes — the deposit is fully refundable up until one month before check-in. After that point it becomes non-refundable.

Is there a security deposit?

A refundable security deposit of €300 (or the equivalent in your local currency) is payable on arrival, and returned at checkout provided there's no damage to the villa.

Is there a minimum stay?

Yes, the minimum stay is 3 nights. All prices include VAT.

What is the Climate Resilience Tax?

Greece charges a daily climate resilience tax (formerly the tourist tax) on all accommodation, payable locally on arrival. For our villas this is €15 per day, except Villa Bambola, where it's €8 per day. We'll let you know the total for your stay.

Arrival & your stay

What are the check-in and check-out times?

For our three-bedroom villas (Arte, Carisma and Bambola): check-in from 3pm, check-out by 11am. For our five-bedroom villas (Azzurro and Insieme): check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am.

Can I check in early or check out late?

We'll always do our best to accommodate an earlier check-in or later check-out where we can. The only time it isn't possible is when we have guests arriving the same day and need the time to prepare the villa — just ask and we'll let you know.

Will someone meet us on arrival?

Yes — we personally meet every guest at the villa to show you around, hand over the keys, and help you settle in. It's part of what makes booking directly with us different.

Is housekeeping included?

Yes. A full clean with fresh linens is included every fourth day, and the pool is cleaned every second day.

Is there a welcome pack?

Yes — you'll arrive to coffee, soft drinks, bottled water, fresh fruit, and olive oil pressed from our own trees.

Getting there & around

How far is the airport?

Kefalonia Airport (EFL) is around a 20-minute drive away, depending how heavy your foot is.

How far are the ferry ports?

Our villas are well placed for the island's ferry ports. Approximate drive times: Pessada (for Zakynthos) just 10 minutes; Poros (for Kyllini on the mainland) 30–40 minutes; Sami (for Ithaca, Patras and Italy) 40–45 minutes; and Fiskardo (for Lefkada) around 1 hour 10 minutes.

Do I need a car?

We'd recommend one. While some beaches and tavernas are walkable, a car gives you the freedom to explore the island properly. We're happy to help arrange local car or motorcycle hire.

How do I get to the villa?

We'll send full directions once your booking is confirmed, and we'll always meet you there in person on arrival.

The villas

Is WiFi included?

Yes, free WiFi throughout every villa.

Are the pools heated?

Our pools are not heated — they're refreshed by the Greek sun, and lovely and cool on a hot day.

Are the villas suitable for families with young children?

Very much so. We provide travel cots and high chairs at no extra cost — just let us know what you need when you book.

Are pets allowed?

Unfortunately we're not able to accept pets at any of our villas.

Can you help arrange activities or transfers?

Absolutely — from diving and horse riding to airport transfers and restaurant recommendations, just ask and we'll point you to the right people.

Still have a question?

If there's anything we haven't covered, please just get in touch — we're always happy to help.
